How To Crack Tomtom Maps
I owned an XL for a long time, Since I travel all over the world I had Europe, USA + other local maps. I decided to buy a new device, a VIA 1505. OK, I have to buy again my maps.
OK:-( I was told this device has 4 Gb ram and a microSD on board for new maps and future espansion. I found the microSD is not active, just an empty slot. I cannot BUY a new map; BUY a map, not crack, hack or whatever. So my new device is useless for me. There are no indication of the product about this, you found this only when you try to buy a new map. TOMTOM' this is a foolish and suicide policy!
I can guarantee that for me, my family, my collegues, my friends etc. This will be last TOMTOM device.
Tomtom Map Update
Anyway I had to thank the aftersales service that try to solve the problem, and try to explain me this foolish policy. Hi Xover, I am sorry for the frustration you're experiencing with not being able to add a map right away to your new TomTom Via. We fully understand that it's not an ideal position for a lot of our users, and we are working very hard on resolving this.
There will be a software update which will add the functionality of adding maps - other than the map that's on your TomTom device currently. In the meantime I do apologise for the inconvenience. You can find out when we release this update either by keeping an eye on the forum announcements here, or by subscribing to our page by clicking on 'notify me' at the bottom of the page. Target='blank Thanks, Zoe. I just encountered the same problem wanting to buy a Western Europe map for my Go Live 1050 purchased in Australia. (Actually that is a replacement after the battery in my original Go Live 1000 died.) Very disappointing to see that I cannot use the device I paid good money for, and no indication from TomTom of when this will be fixed.
Tomtom Maps Free Update
How long has this been a known issue? Riso comcolor 7050 for sale. What is the plan to fix it? I have to say my experience with TomTom over the last 9 months has been less than impressive. I certainly won't be going out of my way to buy another one if this issue can't be fixed and quickly. It is a competitive market after all.
