Stainless Steel 6.4 Unable To Locate Kingdoms.exe

Posted on

So after hours of fiddling with this. mod, not that it's the mods fault but that mods never seem to want to work for me, I finally got Stainless Steel to work. I had watched Lionhearts video on YouTube and, just as is my luck, it was not nearly as easy as he showed it to be. Before I go any further I'll just say that i'm using Windows 8.1 and a Sega Steam version of M2:K. I couldnt get it to work on its own in my Mod folder as it keeps popping up saying 'Unable to locate kingdoms.exe Is Kingdoms.exe in your MTW2 folder?'

I looked and to my knowledge it is not nor does it exist in any of the M2 folders. Dont know what's up with that though I would love to if anyone else knows. So I instead deleted the Teutonic campaign info and placed all of my Stainless Steel materials in there.

Upon launching the Teutonic Campaign from Steam it (Stainless Steel 6.4) worked! But now, because of all the little mods that I'm told make this game whole, I'm having issues getting it to work with Submods. Mainly because the installation directions arent specified to my particular predicament.

Also because for whatever reason they keep popping up in Internet Explorer Downloads as documents rather than data that needs extracted which is what i'm used to. The submods i've attempted to install are: -New Heir Ancillary -Weakened Heretics (which apparently has been removed or combined with the Bugs fix submod which i dont know why it isnt part of Stainless Steel) If anyone can help I'd greatly appreciate it as i'm entirely tired of trying to get this. to work with only limited success. Lionheart makes it look easy in his videos, but it is in fact a pain in the. for me.
